Bio:
Francis Okafor is a highly motivated and passionate software engineer with about 4 years of experience in the industry. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he has a strong understanding of programming languages and technologies such as Go, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C, React, Vue, NodeJS, ElectronJs, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, MongoDB, MySql, Yolov5, Resnet50, Html5, Css3 and a passion for developing innovative solutions. He is recognized as a high-level tech talent under the QF category by the Hangzhou Government in Zhejiang, China.
Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of projects including WeChat mini-apps, Chrome Extensions, Desktop Applications, Web Applications, ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, Mobile Applications, Image Recognition Software and Machine Learning Algorithms. He is skilled in Software Engineering, Database Design, Team Management and is always eager to learn and stay up to date with the latest developments in this field.
During his leisure, Francis enjoys playing chess, football (soccer) and table tennis. He loves languages and is very fluent in Chinese, English, Igbo and possesses an intermediate proficiency in German. He plays over 12 musical instruments including Western, Chinese and African instruments. He is passionate about Technology Transfer and exchange between Africa and other Continents.
