PROMOTING UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CHINA AND AFRICA THROUGH MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION As a media and communications expert in the Asia Pacific region, I am honoured to have been nominated for the Pride of Africa Asia Pacific Awards 2025 in the Outstanding Achievement in Media and Communication category. Over the past year, my work has focused on bridging the cultural and informational divides between China and Africa through communication, comprehensive reporting and media analysis. Key achievements in 2024 1. Publishing articles on China-Africa relations I have authored several articles highlighting the evolving dynamics between China and Africa, focusing on political, economic and cultural exchanges. These publications have provided readers with a nuanced insight into the bilateral relationship and promoted a deeper understanding of the complexities involved. 2. Promoting mutual understanding My work emphasises the importance of mutual understanding between the peoples of China and Africa. By offering different perspectives on important issues, I have helped to create a platform where both sides can engage in meaningful dialogue that promotes cooperation and collaboration. 3.
