across Africa and Asia, ensuring that millions of unbanked individuals gain access to secure and innovative financial services.

Before joining PalmPay, Chinwe played a critical role at J umia Gr oup, where she strengthened the company’s global legal

strategy. Notably, she fostered Jumia’s relationships with over 12 Afr ican embassies in China and par tner ed with sever al

China-Afr ica associations, enhancing Jumia’s business and cross-cultural network and promoting cross-border trade between

China and Africa. She also hosted tr aining sessions on e-commer ce for the Afr ican community in China, equipping

entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate online business opportunities. Her legal expertise also streamlined

Jumia’s operations, supporting its mission to drive e-commerce across emerging markets.

Academically, Chinwe holds a Master’s Degr ee in Inter national Law fr om Peking Univer sity, where she graduated with

distinction and top of her class, thus receiving the Peking Univer sity Outstanding Student Awar d. Her transnational legal

education covered Chinese, EU, and US economic laws, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of global business

regulations. She also holds an LLB fr om Nnamdi Azikiwe Univer sity, Niger ia, where she ranked among the top 10 gr aduates

of her class, and was a Fir st-Class gr aduate of the Niger ian Law School, placing in the top 2.75% of the Bar Exams.
