Over the past several years, I have dedicated myself to advancing education, fostering

community engagement, and promoting cross-cultural understanding in the Asia Pacific

region. As a Nigerian academic based in Chongqing, China, I have been actively involved

in various initiatives that align with the mission of the Pride of Africa Asia Pacific Awards.

Education & Academic Achievement:

Post-Doctorate Researcher at Southwest University, Chongqing, China,

specializing in Educational Leadership and Management.

• Published multiple peer-reviewed academic papers, including “A Meta-Analysis of

Data-Driven School Leaders and School Effectiveness in the 21st Century” and “The

Problems of Educational Policy Implementation and Its Influence on the Welfare of

Teacher Labor Market in Nigeria.”

• Presented at international conferences such as the 10th International Conference

on the Future of Education in South-East Asia and the Chengdu World Youth Sports

Essay Writing Competition.

• Authored two books: an academic autobiography and a non-academic book

titled Tales of Erimma, which celebrates Nigerian culture.

• Recipient of numerous academic awards, including the 2020-2021 Academic

Excellent Students Award (First Prize) and the Third Prize in the Innovation in West

for International Students Studying in Chengdu-Chongqing.

Community Champion:

Acting President of the Nigerian in Diaspora Organization (NIDO), China

Chapter, where I have worked tirelessly to unite and support Nigerians living in

China, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Collaboration with the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing: I have actively engaged

with the Nigerian Embassy to address the needs of Nigerians in China, organizing

events, and facilitating dialogue between the diaspora and the embassy.

President of the International Students Union at Southwest University (2020-

2024), where I organized volunteer activities, led safety education programs, and

supported international students in adapting to life in China.

Director of the Looking China Film Documentary Project, promoting cultural

exchange through film.

Team Leader for the International Professionals’ Visit to Yunyang Rural

Development and Cultural Exchange Cooperation, fostering collaboration

between foreign delegates and local communities.

Speaker at the International Conference on Rural Development of Youyang,

advocating for sustainable development and education in rural areas.

Representative of Southwest University in various international forums,

including the BRICS and Belt and Road initiatives, where I highlighted the

importance of global youth development.

Once again, I am truly grateful for this nomination and the opportunity to showcase my

work. I look forward to contributing to the success of the Pride of Africa Asia Pacific

Awards 2025 and continuing to raise the African flag high in the Asia Pacific region.
