Idorenyin Asuquo is a radiologist and a researcher with interests in lung cancer, cancer genomics and applications of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. His research team conducted a pioneer nationwide research outlining the most prevalent lung cancers and their associated genes in China.
He is also the Managing Director of Carpa Healthcare Limited, a pharmacological manufacturing and distribution company with 9 trademarked products including anti-retroviral drugs, anti-cancer medications and anti-diabetic medications.
He is the CEO and Founder VerseOne Distribution. The first African owned full-service music technology company responsible for music copyright and intellectual property management and distribution of music to 280 digital streaming platforms worldwide.
He is the Managing Editor, Journal of Tropical Research, The Journal of Tropical Research was setup to encourage and promote academic research conducted in or regarding phenomena occurring in tropical countries.
He is the former co-chair of the committee on business and investment at Nigeria in Diaspora Organization (NIDO).
He has won multiple awards including the Nelson Mandela Leadership award of Excellence and was appointed West Africa youth ambassador by the ECOWAS youth council and Pride of Africa award for Education and Academic Achievement.
